Bible Banner
Purpose and Policy

It is my sincere hope and desire that the Bible Banner will serve the purpose of helping people to obtain a better understanding of God's inspired Word, the Bible. Various approaches and formats of writing will be employed to accomplish this goal. Primarily, I intend to use this publication for the posting of religious articles, materials and sermon charts. There may be times when I believe it needful and profitable to post exchanges or written debates to the Bible Banner web site. I will be the sole arbiter in making the final determination as to what subjects are worthy of this kind of discussion on this site, how the issues will be discussed, and who, may best represent the opposing positions.

There is an old expression - "Just because you have an itch, doesn't mean that I must scratch it!" This expression best describes the degree to which I intend to commit myself to those who wish to be published. I will make all editorial decisions for the Bible Banner. This means that if I like a submitted article and believe it to be useful in explaining Bible teaching, or in setting forth and clarifying biblical principles, then I may publish it. If I decide that the article is either erroneous, inappropriate, or unprofitable, or if the author misrepresents others, with whom he differs, then I may not publish it. The decision will be mine. Those who consider this policy to be unfair are always free to publish their materials elsewhere.

Readers are free to reproduce and use materials from this site as long as changes are not made to the wording, and the materials are not altered in any way.

I will occasionally be using this site to advertise tracts, booklets and classbooks that are for sale. There are two reasons why this should not offend anyone. First, it costs money to publish and bind materials in a useful format. Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with a truth teacher being compensated for his efforts (Galatians 6:6). God has "ordained" that "those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel" (1 Corinthians 9:14).

I am the sole proprietor, owner and operator of the Bible Banner web site. Names cannot be copyrighted, but I have purchased, and am the legal owner of the "biblebanner.com" web domain name. I serve as both editor and webmaster. Any questions or concerns may be mailed to me at timhaile@biblebanner.com.
